Thinking about getting married during the holiday season? Have a Christmas wedding, but make it modern! Here are some fun ways to incorporate seasonal elements into your modern wedding without it being tacky.
Let’s start with the bride’s look…
Hair + Makeup
Her hair and makeup gave off a formal yet relaxed tone. Hair down and flowing complimented the dress and the natural seasonal beauty! A little wind in the hair like you just don’t care! Her makeup was neutral but included some gold tones which was the perfect accent to the rest of her look. The ladies over at Bristle and Prim are so talented. Seasonal yet fun is how it’s done!
The Dress
The flowing dress from Posh Bridal, in Lancaster, was the perfect whimsical element to tie the whole look together.
The Bouquet
Who says the bouquet has to be traditional? This hoop bouquet added some modern flair to the traditional Christmas wreath. The gold hoop matched the rest of the accents. Holiday greens and pinecones were used for a simple yet trendy holiday bouquet. It is the perfect way to take advantage of what is in season. Incorporate those pine elements that are not common to use all year long!
The Car
Want to dress up a car for photos? DO IT! This 1964 VW bug added some charm. You’ll leave your relatives filled with nostalgia from their childhood! Or you will feel like you are in a vintage themed Hallmark movie.
Ready to go dashing through the snow? Greenery on the front bumper and top luggage rack added some detail and charm.
The Snow
Ok, last but not least… THE SNOW. We may have picked one of the coldest days of December for this shoot…as a result, we were blessed with some snow flakes falling from the sky. It truly set the perfect scene and created every Christmas wedding couple’s fantasy. Snow is the last element to truly make it a Christmas wedding.
